With the evolution of car designing, the area occupied by glass in the vehicle is in continual growth, while at the same time the obstruction of the field of vision by surrounding elements has been reduced to a minimum. In addition, the development process of the style model and the glass shapes resulting from them still require care, not only from the construction point of view, but above all from the functional ones, like distortion-free images, movement possibilities and achieving targets of play and profiling with surrounding elements.   • GD&T 3D tolerance chain simulation: the activity is carried out using 3DCS software and can be addressed to all systems which interface the seals also starting from data already calculated for other systems.
    The aim is to understand under what working conditions the seal could be obtained in order to be able to optimize its characteristics and relative behaviour with the interfaces. Thanks to our diagnostic experience, and using the same software, we are also able to perform post-production verification through reverse engineering methods in order to optimize the existing solution.
